We look at the photos to see if the job's a fit for the apprentice program, then check what's open. Spots are limited each month.

Apprentice work is scheduled around training availability, so it isn't our fastest turnaround. We'll tell you honestly what to expect before you book, not after.

Apprentices work under direct oversight in the Carstairs shop. Nothing leaves the shop without a Red Seal welder confirming the work meets our standard.
If we can't weld it, there's no charge for the attempt.
Shop drop-off only. No callout, no travel fee to worry about.
If the repair isn't weldable as presented once you bring it in, you're not billed for the attempt. We'll tell you the options and let you decide.
